“Thank you for a truly superb stay - this little oasis is tucked away down a quiet lane in Milazzo giving guests the peace and serenity sought on a week away yet offering a close location to all the necessary amenities. The local town can be reached by foot but car is recommended and links to ferries headed for the Aeolian Islands are only a short drive away. Our hosts local knowledge of the area was fantastic and made this a truly memorable stay with everything from restaurant recommendations to excursions and secluded spots for swimming.  Thank you for showing us the real Sicily”

“If you are looking for a different Sicilian experience this is the place you should certainly consider. The Villa, which is soaked in history, provides a unique opportunity to experience a rural escape from the normal mainstream holiday resorts and provides for a perfect base to explore the northern part of the island.

The Villa itself is gated and was perfectly safe for our 18 month year old son to play.  The location was peaceful and serene surrounded by lush Orange and Lemon orchards.  It was always a pleasure to return to its location each evening following a day exploring. The proprietor was a true gentleman with a wealth of knowledge of the island, who was more than accommodating and willing to assist with any questions about where to visit on the island.

For our first trip to Sicily, and our first time travelling with our son, we were certainly made feel most welcome and at home here.

Villa Flavia is certainly a destination that is worth looking at.”
